Changxin Memory Lags Behind in HBM by 3-4 Years, According to SemiAnalysis Analyst

According to SemiAnalysis analyst Ray Wang, Chinese memory manufacturer Changxin Memory (CXMT), which is preparing to go public, lags behind leading competitors by approximately three to four years in HBM (high bandwidth memory) technology, though the company has secured roughly 10% of the DRAM market share measured in bits. Ray Wang noted that while this DRAM position is solid within a fast-growing market, Changxin Memory trails in process technology by about three years overall.
