CFTC: Speculators Reduce U.S. Treasury Futures Short Positions in Week Through July 21

According to CFTC data, in the week through July 21, speculators reduced their net short positions in CBOT 2-year Treasury futures by 2,880 contracts, bringing the total to 1,154,597 contracts.

Meanwhile, speculators decreased their net short positions in 5-year Treasury futures by 20,954 contracts to 1,273,329 contracts during the same period.
