On Friday (May 15), Bloomberg’s commodity grains index fell 2.26% to 31.7318 points as agricultural futures declined across the session. CBOT wheat futures dropped 3.42% to $6.3550 per bushel, while corn futures fell 2.62% to $4.5525 per bushel, down 3.40% for the week. Soybean futures declined 1.28% on the day but soybean meal futures rose 0.48%, gaining 4.50% for the week. The week saw an initial rally through May 12, holding near highs on May 14, before sustained weakness followed.
