CBOT Corn Futures Fall 2.1% on July 8; Soybean Oil Rises 3.2%

According to Bloomberg data, on Wednesday (July 8) at the close of trading in New York, the Bloomberg Commodity Index fell 1.28% to 30.3107 points. CBOT corn futures declined 2.10%, while CBOT wheat futures dropped 1.78%.

CBOT soybean oil futures gained 3.21%, contrasting with soybean futures' decline of 0.69% to $11.8825 per bushel. Meanwhile, New York cocoa futures surged 4.86% to $6,039 per ton, approaching previous highs set on January 8 and December 11, 2025.
