Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson Pauses Public Videos as ADA Drops to 18 Cents

ADA-18.61%

According to a video address to the Cardano community, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, announced he is pausing public videos, interviews, and X posts. He cited relentless toxicity on social media, noting that an analysis of 130 replies to his posts found 35 were hostile or abusive.

Hoskinson stressed that boosting ADA's price was never his responsibility. The token currently trades near 18 cents following a recent sharp decline. He rejected the notion that chasing valuation serves the ecosystem, stating "if you play the game of token go up, you'll never win." He added that the project must stand for more than speculation or it will "lose everyone, including me." Hoskinson said he will continue working on development but remain quiet on social channels.
