Canaan Produces 90 BTC in May Self-Mining, Holdings Hit Record High at 1,867 BTC and 3,952 ETH

According to PR Newswire, Canaan released its May 2026 Bitcoin mining and operations data on June 11. The company produced 90 BTC from self-mining operations last month, while receiving an additional 24 BTC from customer payments. As of end of May, Canaan held approximately 1,867 BTC and 3,952 ETH, both reaching all-time highs.

Canaan's end-of-month self-installed hashpower stood at 10.05 EH/s with 6.47 EH/s in operational capacity. The company's North American mining operations improved energy efficiency to 17.9 J/TH, an 11% year-over-year optimization, while global average efficiency reached 23.7 J/TH, up 13.5% compared to the prior year.
