Brent Crude Falls to $84.23 on U.S.–Iran Tensions, Down 0.9% Today

International oil prices declined today amid escalating U.S.–Iran military tensions over the Strait of Hormuz. Brent crude for September delivery closed at $84.23 per barrel on ICE Futures, down 0.9% from the previous session. WTI crude for August delivery fell to $78.95 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
