BrainCo Launches Brain-to-Robot AI Platform at Shanghai AI Conference; Raised US$295M

According to BrainCo, on July 17, the China-founded brain-computer interface company unveiled a brain-to-robot AI platform at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai. The platform converts neural signals from non-invasive EEG headbands into commands for robotic arms, humanoid robots, and robotic dogs, combining real-world demonstrations and simulation data for model training. At the event, BrainCo demonstrated a robotic arm grasping objects based on decoded brain signals. The company has raised approximately 2 billion yuan (US$295 million) to date, with its prosthetic systems widely deployed in China.
