Brain-Computer Interface 2 to Launch Clinical Verification in H2 2026, Zhao Jixiong Announces

According to Jin10 data on June 1, China Academy of Sciences academician Zhao Jixiong announced the five-year clinical transformation roadmap for Beijing-model brain-computer interfaces during an academic exchange at Capital Medical University's Xuanwu Hospital. Brain-Computer Interface 2 is expected to launch clinical verification in the second half of 2026, while Brain-Computer Interface 1 is expected to be rolled out for trial at qualified Grade-A tertiary hospitals nationwide in 2027.
