According to Blackstone's official announcement on July 24, the world's largest alternative asset manager reached record assets under management (AUM) of $1.35 trillion in the second quarter of 2026, up 11% from the same period last year. The firm recorded $70 billion in net inflows during Q2, slightly exceeding the prior quarter's $69 billion.
Blackstone attributed the growth to strong performance across multiple segments, particularly in AI infrastructure. The global data center platform's total asset value expanded to $185 billion from $130 billion at the beginning of the year, including facilities under construction. CEO Stephen A. Schwarzman noted that Blackstone has established itself as a trusted partner to leading AI ecosystem companies, supporting investments in firms such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceX.
