Bitcoin Policy Institute Named Founding Partner of US State Department's Freedom Tech Program

According to a State Department announcement on Friday, the Bitcoin Policy Institute was named a founding partner of the U.S. Department of State's new Freedom Tech Excellence Program (FTEP), alongside Palantir Technologies, Anduril Industries, and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation.

FTEP is structured as a talent-exchange program that will embed private-sector employees in State Department initiatives aimed at advancing diplomatic efforts around digital freedom, online expression, privacy-enhancing technologies, countering digital surveillance, and responsible AI governance. Participating employees will take limited-term assignments while remaining employed by their home organizations.
