Bitcoin Bottom Not Yet Formed, Galaxy Research Predicts $40K-$46K Range by Q4 2026

BTC1.60%
According to Galaxy Research, Bitcoin's four-year cycle pattern remains valid, but volatility amplitude is narrowing. The report shows peak-to-trough declines of 85%, 84%, and 77% in 2013, 2017, and 2021 cycles respectively, while the current drawdown from the October 2025 high stands at only 51%. Given the milder peak this cycle, Galaxy expects a shallower bottom in the $40,000 to $46,000 range, potentially occurring before Q4 2026. The research notes that only eight months have passed since the peak, well below the 12-13 months typically needed for cycle bottoms to form, indicating the current bottom has not yet materialized.
