On July 21, 2026, the Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA), Deloitte, and DMCC jointly launched the AI & Agentics Council, a governance initiative designed to establish standards for AI-powered agents capable of holding digital wallets and executing financial transactions within blockchain-based gaming ecosystems. The council aims to address legal accountability and operational autonomy for autonomous AI agents participating in digital economies.
Founding partners include Xsolla (gaming payment infrastructure), SKALE (gas-free blockchain for gaming), The Sandbox (virtual economy expertise), and WAM (competitive gaming platform). Each partner contributes specialized expertise. Deloitte provides governance and auditing capabilities, while DMCC contributes regulatory and jurisdictional support through its specialized innovation hubs. The council intends to develop frameworks covering autonomous governance, human accountability, model-independent infrastructure, and economic systems enabling AI agents to participate alongside human players.
