Bank of Japan to Hold Consultations This Week on Bond Purchase Reduction Pace

The Bank of Japan will hold consultations with market participants this week on the pace of reducing its bond purchases. The central bank will meet with banks, securities companies, and institutional investors on Thursday and Friday (May 23-24). Feedback from these consultations will inform the BOJ's review of its bond purchase plan at its policy meeting scheduled for June 15-16.
