Bank of America Raises Q3 DRAM Price Forecast to 21% QoQ Growth, Exceeding Market Consensus

DRAM1.24%
According to Bank of America Global Research's latest channel survey, global DRAM average selling prices (ASP) are forecast to rise 21% quarter-over-quarter in Q3 2026, exceeding TrendForce's consensus estimate. The optimistic outlook stems from stronger-than-expected server DRAM demand driven by high-speed LPDDR5, recovering spot market demand across DDR5 and legacy DDR4, and customer upgrades toward higher-margin HBM4 modules. Spot prices for 16Gb DDR5 and DDR4 have risen for eight consecutive weeks, with DDR5 reaching $49.2 and DDR4 at $80.1 as of the latest week, reflecting persistent supply tightness amid continued AI chip demand.
