According to BlockBeats, Amazon Web Services announced today the establishment of a Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) team with $1 billion in internal resources to help enterprise customers deploy custom AI Agents and systems. FDE engineers will work on-site at client enterprises to build AI applications, optimize workflows, and enable organizations to independently develop and operate AI systems. AWS's move follows similar initiatives by OpenAI (approximately $4 billion) and Anthropic (approximately $1.5 billion), though AWS is funding its initiative through internal resources rather than establishing separate joint ventures.
