According to Australia's Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the June unemployment rate came in at 4.4% on July 23, matching both the previous month's figure and market expectations. Total employment increased by 76,300, with full-time positions rising by 29,300 and part-time jobs adding 47,000. The labor force participation rate rose to 67% from 66.7% in May. Following the data release, the Australian dollar strengthened to 0.7010 against the US dollar, up 0.23%.
