According to China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on May 14, APEC will host its second senior officials’ meeting in Shanghai on May 18-19, with China serving as this year’s host. The meeting will conduct a mid-year review of APEC cooperation and consolidate early achievements ahead of subsequent activities and the leaders’ meeting.
