Analyst Ben Reitzes Slams Microsoft's Model-Agnostic AI Strategy as 'Mess' on Tuesday; MSFT Gains 2%

SOXL-23.28%
SOXX-7.81%
According to CNBC, Melius Research Head of Technology Research Ben Reitzes criticized Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's pivot to a model-agnostic AI approach on Tuesday, June 22, calling the company's strategy a "mess" and saying he is uncertain about the company's consumption versus subscription model. "I don't want to invest in that stuff while they're still figuring it out," Reitzes said. Microsoft shares were up nearly 2% in Tuesday morning trading, while the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL) ETF fell more than 23% and the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) declined nearly 8%.
