Alphabet Raises $80 Billion Through Equity Issuance, Berkshire Invests $10 Billion

According to Odaily, Alphabet announced today a $80 billion equity issuance to fund its artificial intelligence infrastructure expansion. The funding includes a $30 billion underwritten offering, a $40 billion at-the-market (ATM) program, and a $10 billion private placement with Berkshire Hathaway. Berkshire will purchase $5 billion of Alphabet's Class A shares at $351.81 per share and another $5 billion of Class C shares at $348.20 per share. "AI demand has exceeded our current supply capabilities," Alphabet said in a statement. "This expanded investment will strengthen our infrastructure to support future growth opportunities."
