Albania Protests Over Kushner-Linked Development Project Turn Violent; 23 Arrested, 15 Police Injured

Protests in Albania's capital Tirana over a coastal development project escalated into violent clashes in recent days. Police deployed water cannons and tear gas to disperse demonstrators gathered near the parliament building after a small group of protesters threw eggs and other objects at vehicles carrying lawmakers and government ministers. According to police, 23 people were detained, and 15 officers were injured after being hit by stones and other projectiles during the confrontation.
