6.5-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Mindanao, Philippines on July 14

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck off southwestern Balut Island in Mindanao on July 14 at 11:49 p.m. local time. The epicenter was located approximately 104 kilometers southwest of the island at a depth of about 10 kilometers. The quake was felt across southern Mindanao.
