According to Greeks.live, $1.89 billion in Bitcoin and Ethereum options expired this week, with 25,600 BTC contracts and 155,000 ETH contracts reaching expiration. BTC options had a Put-Call Ratio of 0.56 with max pain at $70,500 ($1.62 billion notional value), while ETH options posted a 0.92 ratio with max pain at $2,000 ($270 million notional value). Bitcoin plunged toward $60,000 this week, moving significantly below the max pain levels due to the sharp decline. Market attention has shifted largely toward U.S. equities amid subdued trading interest in derivatives.
