Product Overview
GUSD is a principal-protected flexible-term investment product with returns generated from Gate's ecosystem revenue, Treasury RWAs, and high-quality yield-bearing assets backed by stablecoins. It can be traded and used as collateral, allowing users to earn annualized yield with daily distributions while providing relatively stable returns.
- Minting Method: Mint GUSD with USDT, USDC, or USD1 at a 1:1 conversion ratio.
- Yield Distribution: Returns start accruing on the second day after your subscription and will be distributed in GUSD by 12:00 (UTC) on the following day. Returns are calculated based on the eligible GUSD balance in your Spot/Unified Account and Funding Account. You can view the details of your accumulated returns in your Spot/Unified Account.
- Flexible Redemption : Withdraw anytime with instant settlement. For GUSD minted via USDT, USDC, or USD1, redemptions made within the dynamic "fee-free quota" of the respective currency incur zero fees. Redeemed assets are automatically returned to your Spot or Unified account.
