Whales Never Left. They Just Changed How They Buy.

Everyone's asking whether whales stopped accumulating.
The data tells a different story.
Strategy hasn't added to its #bitcoin position since June 22, leaving 843,775 BTC unchanged. Many interpreted that as smart money stepping back. But a pause from one corporate treasury doesn't mean institutional demand has disappeared.
Meanwhile, Tom Lee's BitMine purchased 6,000 #ETH while doubling down on its long term Ethereum thesis. At the same time, large Bitcoin wallets accumulated more than 270,000 BTC, even as spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $4 billion in net outflows. Ethereum whales also withdrew nearly 82,000 ETH from exchanges within days.
That's an important distinction.
ETF flows reflect investor behavior in regulated products. Whale accumulation reflects direct ownership. The two don't always move together.
The real question isn't whether whales are buying.
It's where they're buying and whether the market is looking at the wrong data to judge conviction
