If you insist on trading contracts, remember these 8 rules.
First, after you stop loss, stop trading first—don’t get emotional.
Losses are normal, but after consecutive stop-losses, don’t rush to get even, and don’t go crazy opening positions. Stop first, review the reasons—being hard-headed is less important than thinking.
Second, don’t think about getting rich overnight.
Trading is long-term accumulation, not gambling. When you’re losing, stay calm—don’t use heavy positions, and don’t go all-in.
Third, only trade in line with the trend.
Read the bigger trend: in a one-way up move, go long; in a one-way down move, go short. Don’t try to catch bottoms or top-ticks against the trend. Once a trend forms, following it matters more than predicting it.
Fourth, the risk-reward ratio must be reasonable.
For every trade, aim for at least a 2:1 risk-reward. If you’re not sure, give up—better to miss than to do it recklessly.
Fifth, trade less and wait more.
Frequent opening is a big taboo in contracts. People who truly make money often catch only a small number of high-probability opportunities, not trade every day. $BTC
Sixth, only make money within your knowledge range.
If you don’t understand the market, don’t trade it. If you’re not familiar with a coin, don’t touch it. Don’t make money by luck.
Seventh, never “hold and hope.”
Set stop loss in advance, and execute when the time comes. Small losses are acceptable; big losses are often made by “holding through” them. #GateUS合规扩展佛罗里达
Eighth, when you make money, don’t get overconfident.
After you’re profitable, it’s easiest to relax your guard. Once your confidence gets too high, you’re likely to use heavy positions and open trades randomly, and give all the profits back.
Finally, here’s a line to everyone:
What contracts truly compete on isn’t prediction ability, but discipline. Hold your position, respect your stop loss, and keep your timing—only then can you survive in the market long-term. For small capital wanting to grow slowly, it’s never luck, but repeated execution of the rules.
