Crypto news, Ukrainian President Zelensky dismissed Germany's proposal for Ukraine to attain "partial membership" status in the EU. He stated that, given the Ukrainian military is defending the entire EU against Russian attacks, the country should be granted full member status. In a letter to EU officials, Zelensky said that the goal of Ukraine becoming an official EU member remains unchanged and issued a warning against so-called "half-measures." He pointed out, "We have never considered membership as joining some kind of 'half-alliance.'" This statement is the clearest response so far from Kyiv to the suggestions made by German Chancellor Scholz. Last month, Scholz proposed allowing Ukraine to partially integrate into EU institutions but not granting it full voting rights, reflecting concerns among some member states about the pace of accession.
