【#特朗普称对伊敌对行动已结束# Displeased with Iran's New Negotiation Plan】According to multiple U.S. media reports on May 1, President Trump sent a letter to Congress stating that although U.S. military presence remains around Iran, hostilities with Iran "have terminated."

The Trump administration stated that, given that "since April 7, there has been no firefight between U.S. forces and Iran," the hostilities between the U.S. and Israel that began on February 28 "have ended." This statement attempts to explain why there is no need to seek congressional authorization for this. The letter also mentioned that although U.S. military actions against the Iranian regime have been successful and efforts to maintain lasting peace continue, the threat posed by Iran to the U.S. and its armed forces remains significant.
However, on the same day, Trump contradicted himself in a speech in Florida, saying: "You know we’re in a war, because I think you’ll agree we can’t let crazy people have nuclear weapons."
