U.S. Stock Indices Close Mixed on June 8; Nasdaq Up 0.86%, S&P 500 Up 0.3%, Dow Down 0.16%

According to Jin10 Futures data, U.S. major indices closed mixed overnight on June 8. The Nasdaq climbed 0.86% to 25,929.66, while the S&P 500 rose 0.3% to 7,405.73; the Dow Jones declined 0.16% to 50,786.01. Semiconductor stocks outperformed, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index surging 5.61%. Intel gained over 11%, and Marvell Technology advanced over 9%, while the Magnificent Seven technology index fell 0.22%.

In Europe, the DAX declined 0.58%, the CAC40 dropped 0.23%, and the FTSE 100 edged up 0.05%. Precious metals futures fell broadly: COMEX gold declined 0.26% to $4,353.80 per ounce, and COMEX silver dropped 1.13% to $68.33 per ounce. Crude oil futures posted gains: WTI crude rose 0.82% to $91.28 per barrel, while Brent crude advanced 1.1% to $94.11 per barrel.
