US EIA Assumes Hormuz Strait Oil Shipments Resume in Q3 2026

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz are now assumed to resume in the third quarter of 2026. However, traffic through the strategic waterway is not expected to return to pre-Iran war levels before early 2027.
