UK 10-Year Gilt Yield Falls 7.1bp to 4.994% on Thursday; Longer Maturities Drop Steeper

According to market data, UK gilt yields declined across the curve during late European trading on Thursday, May 14. The 10-year gilt yield fell 7.1 basis points to 4.994%, while the 2-year yield dropped 5.7 basis points to 4.428%. The 30-year and 50-year gilts slid 8.5 and 8.6 basis points respectively.
