According to Trump, the U.S. conducted strikes on Iran today, with the president saying the action “hit them very hard.” Trump stated that a deal with Iran “may not happen, but could happen at any time,” adding that he believes Iran is more eager to reach an agreement than he is. He also confirmed that ceasefire agreements remain in effect despite the strikes, though he accused Iran of “pulling tricks” today. Trump warned that while negotiations are progressing well, Iran must understand that failure to sign a deal will result in “tremendous suffering.”
