Russia Controls 85% of Lyman in Donetsk, Chief of General Staff Says on May 16

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, on May 16, Russia’s Chief of General Staff Graisimov stated that 85% of Lyman in Donetsk has been under Russian control, with street-to-street fighting still ongoing.

Graisimov, who inspected the Western military group, noted that Russian forces are conducting offensive operations across a roughly 350-kilometer sector of responsibility.
