Petition to Cancel South Korea's Crypto Tax Gains 50,000+ Supporters, Advances to National Assembly Agenda

According to Seoul Economic Daily, a petition demanding the cancellation of South Korea's virtual asset tax gained more than 50,000 supporters in just 8 days on May 24 and was added to the National Assembly's agenda for discussion. The petition met the threshold for submission to the standing committee. It will now be transferred to the Financial and Economic Committee for review, which will then decide whether to forward it to the full plenary session for deliberation.
