According to Bits.media on May 9, the Moscow Exchange (MOEX), Russia’s largest stock trading platform, announced that it will launch index futures trading for three digital assets—Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Tron (TRX)—on May 14. The contracts will be settled in Russian rubles and use cash settlement, involving no delivery of digital asset holdings, and will be available only to eligible investors.

Three futures contract technical specifications

According to an official MOEX announcement, all three futures contracts will be quoted in US dollars and settled in rubles. The contract term is one month, with the last trading day being the last Friday of each month. The settlement price will be determined by the corresponding index average value for MOEX between 17:00 and 18:00 Moscow time on the last trading day.

The quote specifications for each contract are as follows:

Solana (MOEXSOL / contract code SOL / ticker S3): minimum tick size $0.01, tick value $0.01

Ripple (MOEXXRP / contract code XRP / ticker XR): minimum tick size $0.0001, tick value $0.01

Tron (MOEXTRX / contract code TRX / ticker TX): minimum tick size $0.0001, tick value $0.01

According to the MOEX announcement, starting May 14, 2026, contracts expiring in June, July, and August will be opened: Solana contract codes are S3M6, S3N6, S3Q6; Ripple is XRM6, XRN6, XRQ6; Tron is TXM6, TXN6, TXQ6.

Index calculation schedule: four crypto indices launched simultaneously
