Modi Visits UAE on Friday to Discuss Energy Cooperation, Second Meeting in Five Months

GateNews

According to India’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, Prime Minister Modi will visit the UAE on Friday (May 12) to discuss deepening energy cooperation and strengthening trade and investment relations with UAE President. This will be the two leaders’ second one-on-one meeting within five months. The visit comes weeks after the UAE withdrew from OPEC, a move viewed as a significant shift in global oil politics that could allow the Gulf nation to increase production outside quota constraints.
