Maersk Allegedly Shipped Weapon Components to Israel, Report Alleges on June 9

According to a joint report by Palestinian Youth Movement and Danish NGO released on June 9, shipping giant Maersk has been transporting critical weapon components including bullets, bomb bodies, and mortar parts for Israeli military systems, according to Jin10 data. The findings contradict Maersk's stated policy prohibiting shipments of weapons or ammunition to active conflict zones. Palestinian Youth Movement member Nadia Tannus stated that the report directly challenges Maersk's public commitments, noting that bullet cores, brass cartridge casings, bomb bodies, and mortar components are integral parts of Israel's weapons systems and that Maersk's shipping activities have played a crucial role in sustaining Israel's military capability.
