Iran Won't Restore Hormuz Strait to Pre-War Management, Official Says

According to Iranian state media, Rezaei, spokesman for Iran's parliament national security and foreign policy committee, said on May 24 that the management of the Hormuz Strait will not return to pre-war conditions. The strait is currently controlled by Iran, and after the war ends, Iran can facilitate vessel passage. Rezaei also stated that Iran has not negotiated with the U.S. over its uranium enrichment stockpile and will not retreat from its current position.
