Iran Signals Openness to Talks with U.S. on June 8, Demands Sincere Action from Washington

According to Iran's parliamentary official Ibrahim Aziz, on June 8, Iran does not rule out advancing negotiations with the United States, but Washington must change its current approach and demonstrate concrete sincerity. Speaking to media, Aziz cited ongoing disagreements between the two sides on Iran's nuclear program and uranium enrichment, alongside a persistent lack of trust. He also noted that although the U.S. initially promised to immediately unfreeze Iranian assets, no action has been taken to date. Aziz stated that prospects for a final peace agreement ultimately depend on Washington's subsequent actions.
