General Motors Partners with Peak Energy to Develop Solid-State Energy Storage Systems

General Motors recently announced a strategic partnership with energy storage startup Peak Energy Technologies to develop solid-state battery systems for data center energy storage. The collaboration will focus on industrial-scale batteries designed to store energy during periods of low grid demand. GM is also accelerating its V2G (vehicle-to-grid) technology, enabling electric vehicle owners to feed power back to the grid from their home charging stations.
