French Authorities Boost Security for Crypto Executives Amid Kidnapping Threats

Gate News message, April 16 — French authorities are stepping up security measures to protect digital-asset executives and investors following a series of kidnappings and attempted abductions that threaten the country’s ambitions to become a crypto hub. On Tuesday, April 15, a police motorcade escorted Paris Blockchain Week guests to a VIP dinner at the Palace of Versailles, while conference organizers strengthened security around the two-day event.

Jean-Didier Berger, minister delegate to the French interior minister, announced on Tuesday that the ministry is preparing a new package of protective measures for crypto-asset holders.
