Foreign Investors Sell $75 Billion in Korean Stocks Year-to-Date; Monday Saw $801 Million in Outflows

According to Goldman Sachs data reported by The Kobeissi Letter, foreign investors have sold $75 billion in Korean stocks year-to-date as of June 2026. On Monday alone, overseas investors offloaded $801 million of Kospi-listed stocks, with last week seeing cumulative outflows of $1 billion and every trading day in the past month recording net selling. In contrast, South Korean domestic retail and institutional investors purchased $69 billion of Korean equities during the same period.
