On May 14, crude oil futures edged higher, with WTI crude up 0.15 USD to 101.17 USD/barrel and Brent crude up 0.09 USD to 105.72 USD/barrel. Upstream feedstocks declined: Asian MX fell 16 USD to 1,080 USD/ton FOB South Korea; Asian PX dropped 17 USD to 1,165 USD/ton FOB South Korea and 1,186 USD/ton CFR China; ethylene declined 20 USD across Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia to 1,180 USD/ton and 1,230 USD/ton CFR respectively.
