China-Central Asia Trade Exceeds $1 Billion for First Time, Ministry Says on June 9

According to Vice Director Zhang Dong of the Commerce Ministry's Eurasian Division, China-Central Asia merchandise trade exceeded $1 billion for the first time in 2025. China has become the largest trading partner and primary investment source for Central Asian countries.

The Commerce Ministry supports Central Asian nations in expanding exports of non-resource commodities and agricultural products to China.
